The Great Swim began as the Great North Swim in 2008 and has already established itself as a 5 event series, attracting over 10,000 swimmers a year. Built on the infrastructure of Great Run, every indicator points to the Great Swim series growing at a massive rate.
Already the world’s biggest mass participation road running programme, Great Run had big plans to further expand and enhance its global portfolio of world-class events.
