New-look Training Room offers lots more
The Training Room is an integral part of the Take to the Streets campaign, which aims to have two million more people actively participating in sport by 2012.
The accent is on running, swimming and cycling – with more sports to be added as time goes on.
Yelena site reaches new heights
Pole vaulter Yelena Isinbaeva is one of the world’s most successful athletes, with a staggering 26 world records to her credit over the last five years.
So you can imagine how happy we were at 13Strides when Yelena asked us to design her new personal website with the goal of raising her profile to the stunning heights she regularly jumps.
Inspiring young talent
13strides director Anthony Borsumato – an international athlete until injury forced him to swap his spikes for designing websites and other digital applications – joined five athletics legends to help inspire the next generation of athletes at an IAAF masterclass event, staged to coincide with the start of the 6th IAAF World Youth Championships in Bressanone, Italy.

The Birmingham Half Marathon website has just been re-launched to coincide with the announcement of the details for the 2009 event – and it generated an amazing 1,000 entries in the first 24 hours!
What’s more, the 2009 race will also be tied in with the IAAF World Half Marathon Championship – a huge honour for the city.

When we’re building a website or other digital marketing tool, we often have the idea that it should perform exactly like a finely honed athlete.
Indeed, we like to think of our digital creations as the Usain Bolt of websites – achieving spectacular results and looking like a million dollars in the process.
